Institut français du pétrole - The Institut français du pétrole (IFP, French Institute of Oil) is an independant research organisation in France. It was founded in 1944 under the name of the Institut du pétrole, des carburants et des lubrifiants (Institute of Oil, Fule and Lubricants).

Yves Chauvin - Yves Chauvin (born October 10 1930) is a French chemist and Nobel Prize winner. He is honorary research director at the Institut français du pétrole and a member of the French Academy of Science.
